Whether you're into programming, game design, art, writing, sound, production, marketing, or any part of game development, PlayMyDemo is an opportunity to network with local game creatives and check out the latest games being developed in NI!
If you're interested in showing off what you've been working on, feel free to bring down your laptop/PC/Switch/Nintendo 64! It'll all be very casual, so don't worry about anything being perfect - that's the whole point!
Base Arcade and the NI Game Dev Network have teamed up to showcase local developers at every Base Arcade session in 2026!
Show your game at one of Base Arcade's Saturday sessions, in front of hundreds of people, completely free! We provide the space, you bring the game and the kit to run it on.
It's a public event, so we're looking for interesting titles made by cool people: professional studios, students, and hobby projects are all welcome. Your game doesn't have to be finished, it just needs a high-quality showcase-worthy demo that's ready for strangers to play.
We curate together with the Base Arcade team on a rolling basis, so apply whenever you're ready. Applying isn't a guarantee of a slot. If you're shortlisted, we'll email you.

About the network
NI Game Dev Network started in 2014 as a way for the people making games in Northern Ireland to find each other. Today it's open to everyone involved in games here at any level: artists, animators, writers, musicians, programmers, students just starting out, and anyone interested in making games in any form. We run PlayMyDemo in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry, organise game jams, and keep a Discord where the conversation carries on between events.
