Tell us a bit about who you are and what you do in the industry.
I’m a 3D Modeller and Level Designer, Lover of everything purple, and drinker of excessive Caffeine. Despite knocking around in the community for the last four years I’ve only recently been throwing my hat into the professional ring to invade your workspace even further!
Where in Northern Ireland are you based?
I’m Born and Bred in Belfast! I wish I had some thrilling adventure about how I sailed the seven seas to heist the Pixel Mill diamond, but alas.
Why did you get started in game development?
When I was given the option to either continue onto traditional A-Levels or find something else to do. I dove headfirst into the Level 3 Games Course at Belfast Met. I’ve always tinkered with little tastes of Game Design, from making custom Minecraft maps to spending /way/ too much time making my own games on Roblox. From a young age, I’ve always wanted to create my own experiences.
What are you excited to see in the NI Games Industry?
There are so many exciting things happening in the local community! from Amber Isle to Imagined Leviathans, to the many programs and initiatives from NI Screen that help bring even more amazing talent into the community. Not to mention, the possible prospects of having Pizza and a Beer with everyone I haven’t seen in over a year looming upon us. It’s all coming together B)
Is there anything you’d like to promote?
I don’t have any active projects right now, But I’ve got an awesome showreel on my Twitter that I’d love to see get some love! Also, my birthday is coming up on the 16th and I’ve had close to 300 followers for months now. So y’know…
